On June 3, 1961 in Florissant, MO, she was united in marriage to Gary G. Weller, Sr. who resides of the home.
Loraine worked for several different manufacturing companies in the Sedalia area including Lamy’s, Rival, Town and Country Shoes, and Payless Cashways. Loraine played guitar and sang in several different bands throughout the years dating back to the 60’s and enjoyed singing with her friends and family. She loved her cats and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband Gary, she is survived by a son Gary G. Weller, Jr. (Renee) of Sedalia; four grandchildren, Amanda, Amber, Emma and Caitlin; two brothers, John Lorraine of Florissant, MO and Mike Lorraine (Brenda) of Steelville, MO; two sisters, Joan Barteau of Florissant, MO and Pat Hammers (Kenny) of Old Monroe, MO.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Edward Lorraine and Vernon Lorraine; two sisters, Marie Korte and Doris Blue.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 16, 2017 at Rea Funeral Chapel with Pastor Steven Zeller officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral chapel.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
