OBITUARY: JERALD "JERRY" ADAMS, 84, passed away November 12, 2017. He was born in Kansas City on August 4, 1933, attended East High School, Kansas City Junior College and the University of Arizona. He received his degree from the University of Missouri at Kansas City. He was employed in the pharmaceutical industry, first by A.H. Robins Co. and then by Wyeth Labs, who had purchased the former company. He married his wife, Carlene and her two sons in 1965 and lived in Prairie Village and Leawood, KS for over 50 years. After retirement in 1993, he spent time restoring and building cars of show quality. Jerry loved people, life and any good joke! He is survived by his wife, five children and 12 wonderful grandchildren. Both Carlene and Jerry have been active members of Church of the Resurrection, where his Celebration of Life will be held, 11 am, Sat., Nov. 18 at the Main Sanctuary, Building A.
