Phillip Oscar Abell, beloved father of Sheldon Abell and Matthew Rauhala, passed away in Lethbridge on Monday, October 30, 2017 at the age of 66 years. 

 The Funeral Service was held at Knox United Church, 4929 - 50 Avenue, Taber on Friday, November 3, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. Burial followed at the Taber Memorial Garden. 

 Phil is survived by his 2 sons , 3 grandchildren,3 sisters and their families; 1 brother of Taber and their family; sister-in-law of Taber and her family.

 He was predeceased by his parents Caroline Bernice and Walter Abell; brother Maurice Abell; grandparents Addie and Oscar Cradduck; brother-in-law Hugh Smith and nephew Vaughn Smith.

 Phil enjoyed the outdoors and especially enjoyed time with his dog Sadie. He had a passion for baseball, spending his time behind the plate watching those corners. Everyone that knew Phil will miss him dearly.
