Funeral services for Evie Marcus Stokes, 92, of Anacoco were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 18, 2007 at Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville the Rev. Bobby Pruitt and Rev. Ryan Smith officiated. Burial followed in the Mitchell Cemetery in Anacoco.
Evie passed away on Friday, March 16, at her residence in Anacoco. She is survived by her sons, Charles R. Stokes of Blanchard, William G. Stokes of Lake Charles, Don R. Stokes of Anacoco; brother, Harvey Marcus of Monroe; sister, Eunice Vincent of Colfax; two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
