Donnie spent 20 years in the Army. During his service he was stationed in several US bases and also served in Vietnam. Upon his exit from the service, he came to live in Mesquite, Texas with his brother, William.
He made his home there and met and married his 3rd Norma Johnson. This union produced two daughters, Angela Pearl and Rocella. Donald and Norma later divorced. His later years, he lived in the Kaufman area.
Donald worked at Bennie Keith Budweiser before his health declined.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Kermit and Hazel Wyan; brothers, James, Owen, and William Wyan; sister, Martha and Jesse Wyan.
He is survived by brothers, Raymond Wyan and spouse, Tennesse; Eugene and spouse, Marie; Didier and spouse, Sompet; daughters Angela and Rocella; and 2 grandchildren.
