"STEWART BROWN, one of the well known firm of Brown Brothers and Co., bankers,: died yesterday in New York, in his 79th year. The firm was established in 1827, and from the time of its establishment has been one of the representatives firms of New York. There are branches of the firm in Philadelphia, Boston, London and Liverpool. The funeral will take place in the Church of the Ascension, Fifth avenue and Tenth street, Monday morning at half-past ten o'clock"
