Betty and Leon were married on March 26,1975∼Betty Lyon Starrett, 74, of Jacksonville died Saturday, Feb. 7, 2009. She was born October 6, 1934 in Little Rock, to the late Roy Johnson and Julia Lyon. Betty attended Bethel Assembly of God Church.
She is survived by her loving husband, Leon Starrett; children, Rhonda McCall, Mike Starrett, Ronnie Starrett; grandchildren, Brittany Starrett, Shana Peliti, Shelbi McCall; a sister, Virginia Senter and a host of relatives and friends.
Funeral services were Feb. 10 at Bethel Assembly of God Church in Jacksonville with Rev. Larry Skinner and Rev. Chris Wiggs officiating. Interment will follow at Harmony Cemetery.
