Obituary for Virgil Lee "Bud" Wiseman

Virgil Lee “ Bud” Wiseman, age 78 of Chambers Street, Grafton, WV passed away Friday, November 17, 2017 at Donna Mayle’s Personal Care Home, where he was given excellent care by her.
He was born December 10, 1938 in Buckhannon, WV the late Leslie Virgil Wiseman and Amy Leota (Fornash) Wiseman.

He is survived by two daughters, Vickie Grimes and husband Carl, of Centerville, TN and Shonna McCloy and husband Ralph, of Grafton; four grandchildren, Ralph McCloy, Jr., Amanda King, Audra Crimes and Julia Grimes; three great-grandchildren, Gunner, Elvie, and Julia Grimes; one sister, Kathleen Parkinson of Grafton; several nieces and nephews; and two special friends, Susan Likens and Sara Mayle, who assisted with his needs and cares and also the Lancaster family in Grafton.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou (Smith) Wiseman who passed away June 5, 2017; two sisters, Jo Ann Shaffer and Susie Peters; and special nephew, Michael Shaffer.

He was the head mechanic for the Taylor County Bus Garage in Grafton and he was a member of the NRA.

Bud enjoyed his 1974 black chevy truck and working on cars. He especially loved playing his steel guitar and other musical instruments and loved country music.
He was known for his funny personality and will sadly be missed by his family and friends.

The family will receive friends at the Donald G. Ford Funeral Home in Grafton on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
A graveside service will follow at the Woodsdale Memorial Park Cemetery in Grafton with Pastor James E. Johnson officiating.
