MARGIE LEE ROBBINS
March 3, 1929 ~ November 17, 2017

Margie Lee (Bennett) Robbins was born in the beautiful hills of north-eastern Oklahoma - south of Grove, Oklahoma in the township of Zena on March 3, 1929 and passed away Friday, November 17th, 2017 in Clinton, Oklahoma.

She was the daughter of Richard Bennett and Eva (Standlee) Bennett. Her brother and sisters were: Richard Jr., Nadine, Celesta, and Elizabeth.

While attending nurse's training at the Fayetteville Hospital in Fayetteville, Arkansas, she met a soil conservation employee named J.T. Robbins. They married on Valentine's Day, 1948 in Bentonville, Arkansas and headed "Westward" (down old highway 66) to begin their married life in Cheyenne, Oklahoma. They later transferred to Sentinel where their three children Beth, John Jr., and Ernie were born and raised.

Margie was preceded in death by her parents, brother Richard, sisters Nadine and Elizabeth; and husband John (J.T.) Robbins.

She is survived by daughter Beth Stubbs and husband Bob of Weatherford, Oklahoma, son John Jr. and wife Arlie of Hammon, Oklahoma, son Ernie Robbins of Clinton, Oklahoma, and sister Celesta Chandler of Vinita, Oklahoma. Grandchildren include Jay Hopkins and sons Eli and Ethan, Jeremy Robbins and wife Amy and children Abby Jo and Reece, Maggie Miller and husband Grant and their daughter Claire, Tony Robbins, and C.J. Robbins.
