Mrs. Tosseth, 83, Dies In Minot; |Funeral Monday
Mary Tosseth, former resident of Lansford, died at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at her home. Native of Norway, where she was born Oct. 12, 1863, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arndt Stafne, she was married at Menominie, Wis. to Olo Tosseth, whose death occurred here in 1932. Nine sons and daughters are survivors.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday in the First Lutheran church of Minot and burial will be in Rosehill cemetery, The Thomas funeral home is making arrangements.
Mr. and Mr. To seth moved to Lansford in 1905 and farmed there until coming to Minot in 1928.
The sons and daughters are Nils A. Tosseth. Billings, Mont.: Otis and Andrew Tosseth of Lansford, Oscar Tosseth. Warwick, N. D.: Mrs John Skjelstad. Yakima, Wash.; Mrs. John Todd. Oxnard. Cal.: Mrs. M. A Mattson, Seattle: Mrs. N. B. Rosencrans, White Earth, N. D. and Mrs. V. L Towestad. Lansford. A daughter, Mrs. Ida Espeseth, died last fall.
