Mrs. Malinda Hatfield, Thornhope, Succumbs
WINAMAC, Ind. — Mrs. Malinda Jane Hatfield, 83, of Thornhope, a resident of Pulaski county for 40 years, died at 9:15 a. m. Sunday at the Carneal hospital here after an illness of only a few days. She was a member of the Pilgrim Holiness church at Thornhope. She was born March 3, 1871, in Tippecanoe county, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Burns.

Survivors are five sons, Joe Bucks of Kewanna, Ernest Bucks of Mishawaka, Ray Bucks of Galveston, Frank Bucks of San Jose, Calif., and Claude Bucks of South Bend; 37 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren.

The body is to be taken to the home of the son. Joe, in Kewanna, where friends may call after Tuesday evening. Last services will be held at 10 a. m. Thursday at the Fry and Lange funeral home here. The Rev. C. M. Jones will officiate and burial will be in the Beck cemetery.
