FORT WORTH--Clay Edward "Bunk" Chester, 93, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Nov. 26, 2017.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Building Fund at Haltom Road Baptist Church.
Clay loved and was loved by many people, including his family and church family at Haltom Road Baptist Church. Clay was proud to serve his country during WW II in the Army Air Corps. He worked for more than 20 years as a summer counselor at The Fort Worth Boys Club. He retired in 1986 from 36 years as a Shop teacher at Riverside Middle School.
Clay was preceded in death by his loving wife of nearly 65 years, Ruth Eloise Chester; two granddaughters, Mandy Gregory and Christy Chester; his parents, George and Bessie Chester; and brothers, Don Chester and Jim Chester.
Survivors: Daughter, Catherine Chester; sons, Richard Chester and wife, Frances, Barry Chester and wife, Jana; grandsons, Patrick Chester and Glenn Gregory Jr. and wife, Beronica; great-grandsons, Joseph, Alex and Glenn Tomas "GT"; and extended family.
