LaVonne E. Kelley, 86, of Lewiston, died on Jan. 12, 2002, at Redding Medical Center following an extended illness.
She was born on April 21, 1915, in Los Angeles. She and her husband, Willis, lived in Mission Hills, Calif. for many years until moving to Lewiston in 1964. She was a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the California State Fireman's Association and was a member of the Women of the Moose #1474 in Lewiston.
She is survived by a brother, Clyde A. Harper of Marina Del Ray, Calif.; nephew, Alfred Harper of Anaheim, Calif.; and a niece Marilyn Londean of Temple City, Calif. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1992.
At her request, no service will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association. Arrangements are being handled by McDonald-Files Chapel in Weaverville.
