He retired in 1999 from Arvin-Meritor, Greenfield as material control manager after 40 years service. He was a 1959 graduate of Pendleton High School. A faithful servant of God, he was involved in the following churches and ministries; pastor of Maple Grove Church, Wilkinson; pastor of Huntsville Evangelistic Community Church; associate pastor of North Christian Church, Markleville; director of Co-Be-Ac Church Camp; interim pastor of Faith Evangelistic Church, Muncie; North District superintendent for the Southeastern Evangelistic Association; co-pastor of Family Life Community Church, Pendleton; volunteer at Rawlins House Nursing Home, Pendleton; board member of Discipleship Ministries, Pendleton; and member of the roundtable at The Diner in Pendleton. He was truly a friend to everyone.∼Pastor Larry L. Barkdull passed away March 20, 2007, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
