Imogene Melim, 88, formerly of Ryan Avenue, died Tuesday at the Scalabrini Villa Nursing Home, North Kingstown. She was the widow of Ernest Melim.
Born in Jonesport, Maine, a daughter of the late Sherman and Maude Woodward, she lived in Warwick since 1933.
Mrs. Melim had worked at the film theater and merry-go-round at Oakland Beach during the 1950s. She was a past president of the Connell Post, VFW, Women's Auxiliary, Providence, and was a past president of the Oakland Beach PTA. She was a communicant of St. Rita Church.
She is survived by a daughter, three granddaughters, two great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandson.
