Eleanor “Georgina” Maine
June 1st, 1941 – March 18th, 2017
On Saturday, March 18, 2017, Georgina Maine of Drayton Valley passed away at the age of 75 years.
She leaves to mourn her loss and cherish her memory, her husband Andy, five sons; Brant Bjur of Grande Prairie, Murray (Christine) Dyment of Big Lake, B.C., Bryan (Ilean) Maine of Drayton Valley, Ken Maine of Drayton Valley, Gordon (Wanda) Maine of Medicine Hat, four daughters; Patti (Scott) Morgan of Canmore, Leslie Bjur of Grande Prairie, Rita (Mike) Mutlow of Swift Current, Sask., Andrea (Richard) Vandergrift of Cranbrook, B.C., twenty six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, one brother Maynard Reid, special niece Lynda Akers as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Georgina was predeceased by her first husband, Edward Bjur, second husband Harold Dyment, son Ronald Bjur, granddaughter Rebecca Shipton-Maine and great granddaughter Emma Shipton-Maine.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 11:00 am at Calvary Baptist Church, 4401-50 Ave., Drayton Valley with Pastor Doug Hale officiating. Interment will follow at Breton Cemetery.
