Bernice Lee Davidson, Jr., 67 of Warrensburg, Missouri passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at his home.

Bernice was born March 15, 1950 in Humboldt, Tennessee, son of Bernice Lee Davidson, Sr. and Winella E. (Altabas) Davidson. He moved with his mother and stepfather to Kansas City and graduated from William Crissman High School in Independence in 1968. He served in the United States Navy. Bernice was married to Sheryl Sue Baker on January 22, 1972 in Kansas City. The couple made their home in Kansas City for several years, during which time, he started driving a truck for National Carriers out of Liberal, Kansas. The couple lived in Sedalia from 1995 until 2008. They lived South of Warrensburg for the past nine years. Bernice retired in 2009 to move to New Jersey to take care of his father. He returned to Warrensburg in 2012. He collected old currency. He also enjoyed his tools and visiting with anyone.

Survivors include his wife, Sheryl; daughter: Timon Blackburn, Jr. and husband, Curtis of Sedalia; two sons: Elijah Scott and husband, John of Warrensburg and Elisha Davidson of Sedalia; and six grandchildren: Barbie Marie Blackburn, Celsey Sue-Ann Blackburn, Gage Alexander Davidson, Jorden Clark, Mersadez Clark and Cooper Lee Davidson; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; stepfather: George Altabas, Sr.; and three brothers: George Altabas, Jr.; Daniel Davidson and William Altabas.

A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
