She was the wife of William C. Powell, an architect in St. Joseph. His ashes were interred with her. He was the son of the great architect, Walter Angelo Powell who worked on the cemetery where she's buried and designed many other buildings in the area, including many of the notable Victorian homes. His brother, Edmond Grey Powell, also followed in their father's footsteps.
I don't know the cause of her death or the details of her life, but she died a week before Christmas at the age of 47.
There's a photo of grace on the crypt inside the mausoleum, and it appears that she was quite lovely.
