Mr. Solomon was born in Dublin, spent his childhood in Macon and was a graduate of Lanier High School. He served in the National Guard. Mr. Solomon was employed with the Southern Bell Company, retired from A T & T and was a member of Telephone Pioneers. He was a wonderful believer in Christ, devoted family man, gentleman and farmer. He enjoyed spending time outdoors with his family and friends.
Mr. Solomon was preceded in death by his parents, Rufus Clinton and Ella Harden Solomon, and sisters, Sophie Smith, and Carolyn Adams.
