Ex-Mo Pac Section Foreman Succumbs; Funeral Tuesday
Robert S. Dodson, 79, former Delaware resident, died early Sunday at the home of his son, B. V. Dodson in Bartlesville [Oklahoma].
He was section foreman for the Missouri-Pacific in Delaware from 1923 to 1931, and later held the same position on the Nowata section. He moved to Cherryvale [Kansas] in 1940, and had made his home with his son for the past year in Bartlesville. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p. m. in the R. W. Benjamin chapel with Dr. Graves, pastor of the Baptist church in Bartlesville in charge. Interment will be in Memorial Park [Nowata].
Surviving are three sons, B. V. Dodson, 708 Shawnee, Bartlesville, Robert S. Dodson, South Coffeyville, Hobart S. Dodson, Chelsea; one granddaugther, Peggy Dodson, five brothers and three sisters.
