Mathew A. Miller, 66, a resident of Gravesville, died early last Thursday morning at Sister Bay, Door County. He had gone up there for a few days of fishing. He had not been in good health for the past several years.

Miller, a painter, had lived in Gravesville since 1938. He was born in Sheboygan on Oct. 12, 1888, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Math Miller. He married Esther Wilbert Oct. 12, 1912 at Sheboygan.

Survivors are two daughters and a son, all of Milwaukee, two sisters and two brothers, Sheboygan.

Funeral services were held Monday at the Pfeffer Funeral home with Rev. Orval Egbert, pastor of the Ebenezer Evangelical and Reformed church officiating. Burial was in the Hillside cemetery.
