Pothier, Abel Levi - Grand Anse, Richmond County, died October 13, 1999, in the Strait Richmond Hospital, Evanston. Born in Sluice Point, Yarmouth, he was a son of the late Levi Abel and Odille (Surette) Pothier.
Surviving are his wife, the former Mildred MacRae; son, Brian, Didsbury, Alta.; sisters, Marian Simmons, Doris Bourque, Julietts Bourque, Sluice Point, Yarmouth; brothers, Clifford, Yarmouth; Gustave, Quebec; three grandchildren.
He was predeceased by sisters, Laura, Mathilda, Pauline; brothers, Donald and one in infancy.
Cremation has taken place. Funeral at a later date in the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 47, St. Peter's. Burial of ashes at a later date in Yarmouth. Funeral arrangements entrusted to C.H. Boudreau Funeral Home, Arichat.
