Michael Joseph Dwyer
November 9, 1950 - October 2, 2017
Wenatchee, WA

Michael passed away Monday, October 2, 2017, in Seattle, WA. He was born on
November 9, 1950, to Wayne and Betty (Hageman) Dwyer in Janesville, WI. He was
the fifth of seven sons. He moved to Moses Lake, WA, in 1966, graduated from
Moses Lake High School in 1968, and worked at American Potato Co. In 1972, he
married Rosalie Jensen, and they moved to Wenatchee, WA, to raise their family
of two daughters, Christina and Julie. He was employed at Albertsons,
Wenatchee World, Central Washington Hospital, and St. Paul's School. In 1982,
he started work at Wenatchee Valley College as a custodian and retired in
2007. He took great pride in his work, loved the staff and student helpers,
and built lasting friendships. It was there, he adopted his legacy phrase of
"Ribbit". He would greet anyone with it, as it absolutely made his day seeing
their reaction. He enjoyed many family vacations, but Graceland, TN, and
Ireland were his favorites. He enjoyed reminiscing, camping, fishing, music,
football, and was an extremely loyal fan of the Seahawks and Green Bay
Packers. He was a very proud Grandpa and was especially happy when he could
attend their sports and school functions. He will be most remembered for his
sense of humor, infectious laugh, caring heart, "Ribbit" and his love for bald
eagles.

Michael is survived by his daughters: Christy (David) Tomlinson and Julie
(Mike) Seward; grandchildren: Zachary Seward, Mitchell Tomlinson, Braden
Tomlinson, Victoria Seward and Elizabeth Seward, all of East Wenatchee, WA;
brothers: Ron Dwyer of Wisconsin, David Dwyer of Leavenworth, WA, Dale Dwyer
of Wisconsin, Dan (Kim) Dwyer of Moses Lake, WA, and Tom (Tracy) Dwyer of East
Wenatchee, WA. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, John
Dwyer.

A Memorial service will be held Saturday, October 7, 2017, at 1:00 p.m., at
Calvary Crossroads Church, 1301 Maple St., Wenatchee, WA. We'd like to extend
a special thank you to the staff and residents of Garden Terrace, the
caregivers with ResCare and staff at the UW Medical Center.
