Allie was born in Granby, Missouri to William Elisha Coltrin and Emma Norvell Coltrin. The 1913 Denver Directory lists Allie as a fireman with the D.G. & E.L. Company living at home with his parents at 3811 Osage. At the age of 20 Allie married Gladys Louise Shreeve on June 11, 1915. Allie and Gladys had three beautiful daugters, Lillian Pauline born in 1916, Marion Virginia "Ginnie" born in 1918, and Emma La Jean born in 1919. In 1936 Allie worked in the copper mines around the Bisbee, Arizona area. Later, Allie was an electrician in the shipyards near the San Pedro, California area. Allie and Gladys retired to the Lancaster area where they both passed away and are buried in Joshua Memorial Park.
