CHESAPEAKE - Evelyn Foster Baldwin, 84, passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2017. She was born in Powhatan, Virginia and was a resident of Chesapeake for 29 years. Evelyn was a Personnel Specialist with the Department of Defense and retired in 1984 after 32 years of service. She was a charter member of West Hampton Baptist Church, formerly Copeland Park Baptist Church. Evelyn was preceded in rest by her husband, Bobby Joe Baldwin.

She is survived by her daughter, Deborah (Kelvin) Baldwin King; grandchildren, Cameron (Stephanie) T. King, and Courtney (Robert) K. Munro; brother, Earl (Cameron) Douglas Foster; sister, Annie May Alligood and Shirley F. Reitzel; and many beloved nieces and nephews and other brothers and sisters-in-law from both sides of the family.

The family will receive friends 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm, Saturday, December 9, 2017 at West Hampton Baptist Church, 631 Aberdeen Road, in Hampton. A celebration of Evelyn's life will begin at 1:00 pm at the church. Entombment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the care of Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home, 2551 N. Armistead Ave., Hampton, VA 23666.
