Sharon Kay Roberts Wegener passed away on November 17, 2017, at her home in Buhl, Idaho, surrounded by her loved ones. Sharon was born on October 2, 1941 in Twin Falls, Idaho, to William Edward and Golda Hunt Roberts. She was raised in Buhl and lived there her entire life.

On December 29, 1961, Sharon married Karl Lee Harvey. Together they had 9 children: Troy, Karla, Todd, Kip, Eric, Christopher, Kristen, Buffy, and Sam. They later divorced. On September 19, 1991, she married Bruce Evan Wegener and they spent many happy years together.

As a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Sharon loved her Savior and took comfort in His teachings. She loved her children and grandchildren and was proud to be called "Mom" and "Nana" by so many. Christmastime was her favorite time of year, and she always took extra care to make the holiday special for those she loved with decorations, homemade treats, gifts, and special traditions; her children especially will always remember her for this. One of Sharon's talents was singing. She had a beautiful voice and loved to play the guitar. Of her many and varied church callings throughout her life, her favorites were those that involved music. While she spent a large part of her life raising children, she also worked for many years including jobs at Green Giant and as an in-home CNA.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Darlene Montierth, her son Troy Harvey, and son-in-law Rocky Van Sickle. She is survived by her children Karla (John) Ferrulli, Todd (Lisa) Harvey, Kevin Kip Harvey, Eric Harvey, Christopher (Shelly) Harvey, Kristen (Philip) Jenkins, Buffy Van Sickle, and Sam (Shauna) Harvey. She is also survived by 26 grandkids, 13 great-grandkids, siblings, and many more loved ones.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Sharon's life on Wednesday, November 17, 2017, at the LDS Thousand Springs Ward chapel located at 501 Main Street in Buhl. A viewing will be held at 10:00 a.m. with the funeral following at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at the West End Cemetery in Buhl. Services are under the direction of White Mortuary. The family would like to give sincere thanks to Hospice Visions for the help and comfort provided during Sharon's final days.
