Daughter of William Henry and Ursula Daimwood.

Mrs. Ida Daimwood Magnenat, 94, of 1125 19th Street, died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born in Corpus Christi and was the granddaughter of an early pioneer family. She was a retired schoolteacher. She graduated from Texas Women's University and was past president of Texas Women's University Alumnae Association in Corpus Christi. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Chuch and was past president and lifetime member of Women of the Church. She was a former member of American Society of the University of Women. She was past president of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas and the Women's Monday Club. She was a former member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy and member of the Genealogical Society.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Jack Mayfield [Ursula] of Corpus Christi and Mrs. Bert R. Williamson [Frances] of Houston (1916-1985), three grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be Monday at First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Hugh L. White officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a favorite charity or to the First Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund.
