Raymond Michael “Mike” Day, 46, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Dec. 9, 2017, at home, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born Aug. 15, 1971, son of Raymond and Ruth Ann Newsom Day. He and Stephanie Priest were married March 17, 1999. She survives.

Mike is a 1989 graduate of Jackson High School. He was employed at Walmart in Cape Girardeau, where he received his 25-year recognition.

Loving Survivors include his wife, Stephanie Day of Cape Girardeau; three children, Nadia Day of Porter Ranch, California, Noah Day of Jackson and Kiera Themm of Porter Ranch; parents, Raymond and Ruth Ann Day of Burfordville; brother, Marshall (Wendi) Day of De Soto, Missouri; and sister, Megan (Steven) Walker of Jackson.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

There will be a visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson, where cremation will be accorded.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Southeasst Hospice or the Southeast Cancer Center.
