David Rockne Horton "We Love You" 8/22/57 ~ 11/17/03 Our Dave, loving son, brother and uncle died peacefully in his sleep on November 17th, 2003.
Dave was born to Dexter and Katherine Horton on August 22, 1957. Dave was a kind, gentle, and courageous soul, loved and respected by all who knew him. He was an excellent skier, swimmer and loved fishing, taking long walks and listening to his favorite music.
Dave served in the US Army and attended Westminster College. He had a special love for kids and a love for all people. His tender heart and big smile will be missed. Dave, your family is so proud of you, we love you and we will miss your love that you shared with us. Dave is survived by his Mom, Katherine, Sister Julie, and Brothers: Steve and wife Patty, Dan, Derek and wife Laura, Paul, Niece Stacey and Nephews Jeremy, Zachary and Alexander. He was preceded in death by his Dad Dexter and his brother Justin.
Friends and family are invited to a viewing held Friday from 6:30-7:30 at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 S. Highland Drive. A private Funeral service will be held in honor of Dave.
