"Today was the happiest, and saddest day of my life. The Astros won the World Series, and I was diagnosed with colon cancer."
Robert H. Allison
1950-2017
Robert Herman Allison, 67, of Houston, Texas passed away peacefully with his extended family by his side, after a hard fought battle with cancer on December 14, 2017.
With no immediate family, he is survived by his cousins Mike and David Levitan and who he considered family, the Atilanos, Maria, Christen, and Hannah.
Robert, "Rob" was born on July 30, 1950 to William Robert Allison and Juliette Allison of Houston, TX. He was loving, loyal, and caring to all those around him. His adoration for his extended family resonated. His loyalty to his employer and the Realty Associates agents was unmatched.
Rob's personal mission each day, Monday-Sunday, was to help any real estate agent facilitate their business. His yearning to help others was profound and well known. He was always eager to help and share his many years of experience to any of the 2000 real estate agents at Realty Associates, day or night.
Rob was a sports enthusiast that had all the latest football scores and team data ready for broadcast when asked, especially his alma mater, The University of Texas. He watched every UT football game since 1972.
He will be missed by all who knew him and his legacy will live on in our hearts forever.
Gracious thanks to Maria, Mom, and "Heart to Heart Hospice" for the special care given during his last weeks of life.
Private funeral services were held shortly after his death and a memorial service gathering will take place when arranged shortly after the first of the year.
