Her Dad was a military man, so she was born in California. By age 3 they moved to Chesapeake, VA., just out side of Norfolk Naval Air Station. In 2004 they move to Panama City, Florida where she graduated from High School in 2007, with the nick name of "LL Cool P". Her Dad bought and fixed up a Suzuki Samurai, for her painting it pink (her favorite color) and put "LL Cool P" on the spare tire cover on the back of it as a surprise for her 17th birthday.
Lacey was a beautiful, always happy, fun person to be around and had a ton of friends. She decided not to go to college but worked at different jobs trying to find a good fit. In 2014 she became a mother. Lacey was so happy and proud to be a Mommy and loved her son very much.
She is preceded in death by her Grandparents Sterling Gandy Jr and Freda Curtis Gandy. Great Grandparents Ray Edward & Verna Mae Barker Frisk, Robert Ellwyn & Phyllis Alida Young Peterson, Sterling Gandy Sr. & Alice Gulliver Kelly Gandy and Vance A. & Bernice Luman Curtis. Two uncles Rodney Franklin Peterson and James Allen Peterson.
Lacey is survived by her parents & son of Youngstown, FL and Grandparents James Dale Peterson (wife Karen) Superior, NE and Waneta Loy Frisk Simmons (husband Gene) West Plains, MO. Aunts, Cheryl L. Peterson of Butte, MT and Kara L. Peterson of Waukee, IA; Janet M. Davis of Dallas, TX, Cousins Andrew M. Peterson of San Antonio, TX and Kylie M. Peterson Chambers of San Clemente, CA. Caitlin M. Roberts of Dallas, TX, many other distant cousins and beloved friends.
