1910 Census: Alma Elj (42) born about 1868 in Sweden and immigrated 1884, was widowed and living at Bovey, Itasca, Minnesota. She had 11 children, all living. Children: Sofia (21), Carl (17), Ernest (15), Ellen (13), Olga (11), Hulda (9), George (7), and Lillie (4). A married daughter and her family lived with them: Hannah Blair (23) was married to Charley Blair (37) who was a laborer in the iron mines. They had one child - Ellen (1).

1920 Census: Ralph Albie (28) born about 1892 in Italy and immigrated 1910, was farming in Township 58, Itasca, Minnesota on Buch Lake Road. His occupation was fireman in the ore mine industry. He was married to Hulda Albie (19) born about 1901 in North Dakota.

1925: Death of Hulda Olilia Elj Albie who died in childbirth August 16 1925. [Baby boy born and died on same date also.]
