Margarita Emma Abrolat, 90 - of Cape May, New Jersey, passed peacefully surrounded by her family at home on Wednesday, December 13th, 2017.

She was born in La Coruna, Spain to the late Urbano and Eulalia Vazquez. She moved to London, England and married Alfred Abrolat on August 3rd 1957. They later moved to E. Lansdowne, PA, raised a beautiful family of 3 and was an employee at John Wanamaker's. She and Alfred then retired to Cape May in 1997 from East Lansdowne, PA. She joined the Cape May County Art League where she became an aspiring artisan creating beautiful oil paintings of Cape May's land and seascapes and other parts of the world.

She will always be remembered by her uncanny ability to make people laugh and her passion for helping others.

She leaves us rich in memories!

Margarita is survived by her husband of 60 years, Alfred; her children: Al (Lisa) Abrolat, Margie (Kevin) Koch, and Sharyn Madden; sister Liluca Vazquez; as well as 8 grandchildren: Alexia, AJ, Nicole, Chris, Kevin, Kerrin, Jacquelyn, Brianna and 1 great-grandchild, DJ; nieces: Emma and Purita; nephew: Tonecho. Along with her parents she predeceased by her sister Puri Vazquez and nephew Javier.

Celebration of her life will be held on Monday, December 18th, 2017 at Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210. Viewing will be from 10 to 11 a.m. and service will follow at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Cold Spring Presbyterian Cemetery.
