Dale D. Decker, 85, of Peoria passed away Saturday, October 7, 2017, at home.

He was born on March 14, 1932, in Charleston, IL, to Lester and Ruth Armstrong Decker. Dale married Phyllis Kirkpatrick in 1973. Surviving are three daughters, Lisa (Bob) Sollberger, Gayle (Bill) Nott and Heidi (Ned) West; three step-daughters, Barb (Sonny) King, Patty (Rich) McKee and Carol Smith Wahl; two sisters, Polly Gawell and Doris Pircher.

Dale was preceded in death by his wife of forty-one years, Phyllis; and his parents.

He was an Army veteran, serving in Germany and Austria.

Dale manufactured paint in the Peoria area. His formula is now known as Kilz Primer. He also owned and operated Deckerator's Korner with his wife, Phyllis, for twenty years until they retired.

Cremation rites have been accorded
