Jim was born in Wichita, KS to Loren and Marjory (Reese) Wood. He was preceded in death by his father. Jim is survived by his wife Lynne; her children Shane McLemore (Jana), Donnie McLemore (Amanda),and grandchildren Natalie and Hayden. They also claim a very special family Stephanie and Wes Buell and their children Owen and Bella as part of their extended family, as well as many other cousins, nieces, nephews, and many treasured friends. Visitation will be 1-8 PM with family to receive guests from 6-8 PM, Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at Buchanan Funeral Services. Services to celebrate his life will be 10:00 AM, Thursday, December 21, 2017 at Mayfair Church of Christ with burial to follow at 3:00 PM at Milan Cemetery in Milan, KS.
