Alfred C. Berringer - Funeral services for Alfred C. Berringer, 77, of Marshfield, Mo., were held at 2 p. m. Sunday, March 1, 1992 at Arthur's Colonial Chapel in Marshfield, with Rev. Jack Day officiating. Burial was in Hopkins, Mo.
Alfred C. Berringer, son of Clyde and Daisy (Larson) Berringer was born July 7, 1915 in Clarinda, and died Wednesday evening, February 26, 1992 at his home in rural Marshfield.
He was a carpenter and farmed east of Clarinda until moving to southern Missouri in 1965. He was a member of the carpenter's union of Council Bluffs. He was married to Edna Woodman who survives.
Besides his wife Edna, Alfred is survived by one sister, Irene Smith of Northboro; five children, Donald Berringer of Yorktown; Keith Berringer of Yorktown; Dorothy Wilson of Everton, Ar.; Allene Bozman of Marshfield; and Junior Berringer of Marshfield. There are four stepchildren, Jean Blanchard of Ca.; Joan Berringer of Yorktown; Dewey Woodman of Ca.; and Perry Woodman of Harrison, Ar.; there are 23 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Alfred was preceded in death by his first wife Verna, his parents, two sisters and one brother.
