Myles W. Krejcarek, 86, of 2130 Ruby Lane, Manitowoc, died Tuesday morning, December 22, 1987 at North Ridge Care Center, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be 9:30 am Saturday at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Rev. Leo J. Schmitt will officiate with burial at Knollwood Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Krejcarek was born July 22, 1901 in the Town of Kossuth, Manitowoc County, son of the late Joseph and Rose Zaruba Krejcarek. Mr. Krejcarek grew up and was educated in the Town of Kossuth. He was employed at Mirro Aluminum for almost 25 years and then retired from Hammon Construction Company in 1966. He married the former Mildred L. Zimmerhakel on February 7, 1922 at St. Luke Catholic Church, Two Rivers. The couple celebrated their 65th Wedding Anniversary in 1987. Mr. Krejcarek was a member of Holy Innocents Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred L.; a son and daughter-in-law, LeRoy R. and Dorothy Krejcarek of Two Rivers; a daughter and son-in-law, Ruth E. and Lloyd Junk of Manitowoc; grandchildren include, Richard and Sue Krejcarek, Randal and Ann Krejcarek, Mary and Bob LeCloux and Paul Krejcarek and six great grandsons, Brian, David, James, Mark and Peter Krejcarek and Daniel LeCloux; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends survive. He was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call at Reinbold-Pfeffer Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, after 4 pm Friday and Saturday at the funeral home from 8 am to 9 am when family rites will be held. Prayer Service will be held at 7:30 pm Friday evening led by Deacon Donald Gigure.
