Archie Milon "Buck" Adams, 87, of Sale City died Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at his residence.

Graveside funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 23 at Cool Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Tom Rodgers will officiate.

Born December 17, 1930 in Newton, GA, Mr. Adams was the son of the late Archie Adams and Florie Holt Adams Croker. He was married to the late Betty Jean Adams and was also preceded in death by a son, Mike Adams, brother, Jimmy Adams, and sister, Lelia M. Lundy. Mr. Adams was a veteran of the United States Navy and retired from the Marine Corp. Logistics Base of Albany. He was a member of Cool Springs Baptist Church. Mr. Adams was an avid turkey hunter and fisherman and true confederate rebel.

Survivors include a daughter, Chan Bell (James); a son, Scott Adams (Rosalind); a brother, Mike Adams; ten grandchildren, Jeb Bell, Bob Bell, Katie Williams, Leah Deason, Tyler Sizemore, Brittany Harris, Tiffany Harris, Dru Shierling, Tal Shierling, Emma Shierling; four great grandchildren, Cole Williams, Kamryn Williams, Carson Williams, and Faulton Bell; three nephews, Jeff Adams, Chris Adams, and Matt Adams.

Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, before services, in the social hall at Cool Springs Baptist Church.

Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
