Alvin L. Courtot
BRISBIN — Alvin L.Courtot, 58, of Brisbin died yesterday, Oct. 3, at 8:48am. at Philipsburg State General Hospital.Born in Indiana, he was a son of Julius and Jennie (Lobb) Courtot.
He is survived by his mother of Brisbin, sisters Mrs. Paul ( Florence) Harclerode of King of Prussia and Mrs. Leadeth Moore of Houtzdale, a brother George Courtot of Brisbin and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father and two brothers.
He was a veteran of World War II and amember of the American Legion Post of Houtzdale,BPOE of Philipsburg,Loyal Order of the Moose, Ebensburg, Chester Hill Hose Co. and Fraternal Order of Police, State College.
Services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Birger A. Freeberg Funeral Home, Houtzdale,with the Rev. Thomas McCoy officiating. Interment will be in the American Legion Cemetery, Brisbin.
Friends may call at the funeral home tomorrow from 2 p.m. until the service Wednesday.
