Victor Lindberg "Lindy" Aaron Sr., 90, of Chatham, passed away on December 23, 2017, at SOVAH Health Danville. He was born on September 8, 1927, in Danville, son of Matthew Lafayette Aaron Sr. and Grace Woodall Aaron. He was married to the late Nancy Easley Aaron. He was a member of Hollywood Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Army in occupied Germany. He owned and operated Lindy's Store in Callands. He is survived by three daughters, Martha (Cabell Jr.) Nelson, Grace Aaron and Mary Ellen Blosser; two sons, Victor (Marie) Aaron Jr. and Vincent Aaron; six grandchildren; a sister, Leone Plyborn. He was also preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters. Burial will be in Hollywood Baptist Church cemetery.
