Ann Yarbrough Anderson, 85 of Jesup died Saturday, December 23, 2017 after an extended illness. The Landover, Md. native had lived in Wayne County most of her adult life, was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church, a homemaker who loved quilting. She worked several years in the sewing factories and preparing meals for the Jesup Stockyard employees and customers. Ann always enjoyed visiting with her family and friends too. She was predeceased by her former husband, Joe Yarbrough, Sr.; a daughter, Kathleen Yarbrough; two sons, Joe Yarbrough, Jr. and Leon Clayton Yarbrough.
Survivors are her husband of 27 years, Kenneth Anderson of Jesup; a son and daughter-in-law, Andy and Gloria Yarbrough of Jesup; a daughter, Josie Craggs of St. Augustine, Fla. a brother, Robert Fleming of Waldorf, Md.; several grandchildren and step-children, step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 3 P.M. Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Rinehart and Sons Chapel with Rev. Calvin Anderson officiating. Interment will be in the Old Bethel Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be her family.
Visitation will be 2 to 3 P.M. prior to services at the funeral home.
