Linda Carlile Phend, 64, of Amarillo, died Saturday, November 18, 2017. No services are scheduled at this time.

Linda was born January 31, 1953 in Mexia, Texas to Derrell and Lou Carlile. She graduated from West high School and she married Bill Phend in Ft. Myers Florida in 1989. She worked for Clayton Homes in Waco for many years. She has lived in Amarillo since 2009. Linda loved keeping up with friends on the phone. She will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband, Bill Phend; a sister, Carol Huffman and husband Doug all of Amarillo; two nephews, Jeff Spence and wife Mendi, and Clay McPherson; five great nieces and nephews, Cason and Maddyx McPherson and Kaden, Callie, and Creed McPherson.

Family suggest memorials be made to Alzheimer's Association, 5410 Bell St #411, Amarillo, TX 79101.
