She moved to Oklahoma, where she met her future husband John Wallace Burt. They married about 1912 in Oklahoma.
They came to the Port Orchard, Washington area about 1918.
She was a well known artist and member of the Methodist Church.
She was affiliated with the Order of the Eastern Star, she was past matron, and past representative of Manitoba Chapter 144.
She is survived by her husband, John; her son Gilbert; a daughter, Betty; four Grand Children and two Great-Grand Children.
