Mrs. Sarah Ethel Neely, 71 years old, 1342 Wade Street, died yesterday morning, January 15, 1943 in City Hospital of injuries suffered December 7 in an automobile accident on Crawfordsville Road between Clermont and Brownsburg. Mrs. Neely’s husband, George A. Neely, and their daughter-in-law, Mrs. Lucille Neely of Indianapolis, also were injured in the accident. Both are recovering.

Born November 8, 1871, near Fairmount, Mrs. Neely had resided in Indianapolis nearly all her life. She was a member of the South Side Nazarene Church.

Survivors, besides the husband, are two daughters, Mrs. Stella Carroll of Ashland, Kentucky, and Mrs. Vera Mattox of Brownsburg; three sons, Claude Neely, Harold Neely, and George Neely, all of Indianapolis; two sisters, Mrs. Robert Michel of Elwood, and Mrs. Albert Combs of Indianapolis; two brothers, Arley Marley of Anderson and Ozro Marley of Elwood; nine grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o’clock Monday afternoon in the South Side Nazarene Church by the Rev. H.J. Radrar, pastor of the church. Burial will be in Floral Park Cemetery.
