Donna Clinton Davis

My name is Donna Clinton Davis. My days on this earth ended December 25, 2017 after 66 years. I was the second of four children born to Richard Louis Clinton and Nora Virginia (Craig) Clinton. Three siblings completed our near perfect family unit: My sister Jenny Lea (Artigas), who admirably lived up to the responsibilities of a firstborn, dependable, supportive and a leader; my brother, Richard Ray (Rick) who shared my love of outdoor adventure throughout my "growing up years" and later became my idol in all things construction; and my sister Janice Ann (Allen) who held the most special of places in my heart.

I had the privilege of becoming the mother of two extraordinary children: Heather Melinda (Stanbery), always full of laughter, spontaneity and support, and Jennifer Nicole (Stockstill), filled with an abundance of love and family devotion. My girls were my greatest life accomplishment. I was blessed with six astounding grandchildren: Kayla, Jake and Christopher, given by Heather and Austin, Brianna and Skye Lynn who are Jennifer's children. Kayla and her husband, Kodi just graced me with their first child, Zayden. Oh, the circle of life.

To everyone I have loved I say these final words to you: Make your life count. Leave your mark on the world. Love deeply, forgive often, exercise tolerance, offer random acts of kindness frequently, keep family tucked deep in your pocket and always be grateful for what you have.

Donna has chosen cremation. A private celebration of her life will be held at a later date to honor her.

Was a member of the class of 1970 Parkersburg South High School.
