Sarah Lee Storey Maltsberger, age 78, passed away on December 18, 2017. She was the wife of William Ashby (Bill) Maltsberger, Sr. They shared fifty-six years of marriage and ranching together in La Salle County. Born in Cotulla, Texas on December 26, 1938, she was the daughter of Horace Dudley Storey, Jr. and La Nell Fergurson Storey. Sarah Lee is survived by her husband, five children, and sons-in-law, including Bill, Jr., Sarita (Brad Bickham), Jack Storey, Annyce (Konrad Kuykendall), and Helena (Matt Hatlevig); her eight grandchildren; Brin Ashby & Sarah Blake Bickham, Lane Ashby & Rafe Lee Kuykendall, Haden Alan, Holden Collins, Mason Ashby & Madison Lee Hatlevig; her brother H.D. Storey, III, wife Denise, and their family. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents. A private graveside service, officiated by the Rev. Mike Davis, was held on December 21, 2017 at the Cotulla Cemetery, Cotulla, Texas.
