James L. Nibbelin, 88, passed away on December 25, 2017, at the Graham Hospital in Canton.
He was born on May 19, 1929, in Canton to Roy and Rose (Svob) Nibbelin. They preceded him in death.
He married Alice Leiter on November 11, 1952 in Anthony Rhode Island. She survives
Also surviving are his children, Deborah Brod of Canton, Laurie (Ed) Henderson of Canton, Teresa Barnett of Canton, Mark Nibbelin of Canton, David Nibbelin of Greenville Texas, Karen Evans of Kansas City, Missouri, Mary (Joe) Draher of Hanna City, three sisters, Barbara Kneer of Morton, Pat Vorst of Indiana, Madeline Dallefeld of Florida, Eleven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
James served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and worked for International Harvester in Canton as a computer programmer, retiring after 39 years of service.
A private service will be held at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton. There will be no visitation and cremation rites have been accorded.
Burial of the ashes will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery in Canton.
Memorials may be made St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
