Julia Wilkes, 96, died at her home in Koleen, Indiana, Tuesday, 26 December 2017. Julia was born Julia Lynell Coley in Lee County, Mississippi, on 19 February 1921 to Wiley Thomas Coley and Minerva Jane (Koon) Coley. On 20 November 1936 Julia married Arthur Melvin Wilkes who died 21 October 1979. She was the youngest of ten children and was predeceased by all of her nine siblings. She is survived by her son, Paul Richard Wilkes, two grandchildren, Paul Richard Wilkes, Jr, and Cheryl Lynn (Wilkes) Enzinger, and by numerous great-grand, and great-great-grandchildren.
