Ida Veldman, age 91, passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2017.
Ida was a loving mother and faithful wife. She enjoyed traveling, providing seamstress talent to her family and making quilts for each of them. Her hands were always busy stitching and crafting. She will be remembered for her wonderful spirit of contentment and will be dearly missed.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Harris.
She is survived by her children; Marcia and Robert Pyle, Debra and Arlyn Bohl, Bruce and Amy Veldman; grandchildren, Joel Pyle, Tracy and Jason Weber, Kevin and Georgetta Bohl, Kyle and Lindsay Bohl, Beth and Josh Herlein, Rob Veldman, Caroline Veldman, Katherine and Zach DeForest, and Mark Veldman; and nine great grandchildren.
Visitation is 4:00-6:00 pm Monday, January 1, 2018 at Yntema Funeral Home, 251 S. State St., Zeeland, MI 49464.
Funeral services are at 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at Beaverdam Reformed Church, 7250 Ransom St., Zeeland, MI 49464 officiated by Rev. Doug Hoeve.
Burial to take place in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
