William A. "Bill" Andrews, 91, of Piedmont, Ala. passed away Monday, July 18, 2005. Mr. Andrews was a South Carolina native and had been a resident of Piedmont, Ala. since 1979. He was a member of Parker Grove Baptist Church in Centre, Alabama. Mr. Andrews was preceded in death by his wife, Eva Andrews; three sons, Tommy Andrews, Larry Andrews and Richard Andrews; and one grandson. He is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Billie and Benny Hutchison of Riverton, Wyoming; daughter, Donna Bass of Goshen, Ala.; daughter and son-in-law, Nina and Harvey Friend of Winder and a son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Glenda Andrews of Cedartown. Also surviving are two brothers and sisters-in-law, Louie and Dink Andrews of North Carolina; and Sammy and Margaret Andrews; Fourteen grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren. The funeral service was held Tuesday, July 19 at 11 a.m. Central/Standard time in the chapel of the Thompson Funeral Home in Piedmont, Ala. with the Rev. Ed Coogler officiating.
